Bosphorous Turkish Cuisine is a family owned business, established in 2005, that offers variety of authentic Turkish food from many regions of Turkey. Bosphorous Turkish Cuisine adapted its name from one of the oldest cities in the world, Istanbul, which was once known as the Constantinople in the early 13th century. The name “Bosphorous” taken from the strait that lies in the center of Istanbul connecting the Black Sea and the Sea of Marmara, Europe to Asia. The decor of this eatery is kept to minimum to draw the attention to the food. The intent was to create a modernized, warm authentic atmosphere by taking the old elements of Istanbul and combining it with some modern influences to create a truly unique experience.

We are honored that Primo has been designated a Recommended Restaurant in the inaugural Florida 2022 MICHELIN Guide. Led by award-winning chef Melissa Kelly, our restaurant serves authentic Italian cuisine, featuring organic produce and a carefully crafted wine list. Bosphorus continues to deliver good quality food at fair prices. It is hard to top grilled chicken beef and lamb and each is prepared wonderfully. Few things are as welcoming as their lavas which can be prepared with several of their appetizers. I only wish they’d offer a few other side options. Personally I am not a fan of raw red onions so a few other choices would be a nice addition.

My absolute favorite restaurant. We drive from Tampa to go to Ava. Service and Food are outstanding. My husband and I love this place. You will not be disappointed. Dress code? YES! Thank you for that Ava. If you insist on going out in public in your pajamas and crocs, skip Ava! Put yourself together, snappy casual with the coolest of vibes and plan on having an exceptional dining experience. ♥️

Our server Cade was very helpful with the menu and very attentive. The food was perfectly prepared, as usual, as this was a business meeting so there were few interruptions. I will return soon with my Wife.
