Delicious food. Pork shoulder and shepherd’s pie were excellent. The soup was delicious and rich. Together, with the cheddar biscuits, was wonderful. Service was attentive and friendly. The ambience was a bit off. It felt like a dressed up Embassy Suites lounge. We loved the art but I also understand the location in an apartment complex makes this hard. I feel maybe more decor, like plants and larger and brighter art on the walls. Maybe different, less beige, upholstery on the benches. And lighter and more colorful walls could help.

The food was the highlight. Everything delicious and beautifully played. Short on staff Xmas evening. It took 20 minutes to get drinks but once that was done evielse was timely

We were passing through Palm Desert on Christmas Eve and were able to secure a reservation at Cafe Des Beauz-Arts…and were not disappointed. The servers were very attentive and upbeat (despite having to work on Christmas Eve!). I had the Sand Dabs Picatto and the flavors were wonderful…although maybe a little too fishy tasting. Beet Salad and French Onion soup were delectable. A non-alcoholic wine/mocktail selection would have been nice. Raspberry crème brule and cappuccinos were perfect endings to the meal!

From the moment you stepped in every staff welcomed you and promptly seated and attention was given to drinks and the specials of the day board was brought. Nicely paced attention meals were excellent quantities were appropriate desserts were delicious. Rear dining room was the quietest for conversation even though there was a large party of 12 to our side. Warm night patio would be also nice location.

Booked this due to proximity to the Baloon Festival and were very pleasantly surprised. The unassuming exterior hides a true gem. Enjoyed every bite, and the staff was attentive and professional. We will be back.
