Beautiful Modern Mediterranean restaurant by Chefs Laura and Sayat (Star Chefs and San Francisco Chronicle Rising Stars) at the Main Parade Lawn in the heart of the Presidio National Park. The restaurant's menus feature Presidio-inspired seasonal craft cocktails, a progressive wine menu, and a cuisine that balances the comfort of familiar Mediterranean flavors with California sensibilities. In cohesion with the Presidio National Park, the design features soft, natural colors; repurposed furniture items from the Presidio; and a mural and a hand-drawn wall paper by Bay Area artist Emily Parkinson. Lokma, which means “a bite” in Turkish, opened in Feb 2018 and is located in the Outer Richmond. We serve a fresh Californian and Turkish fare while serving our guests with warm hospitality in our bright and open space. Please note that we allow 15-minute grace period for reservations, we ask that you please call if you are going to be late. Reservations will be marked as no-shows after 15 minutes. Due to the high number of no-shows and last-minute cancellations, we now have a 24-hour cancellation window for parties of 6 or more. We will require credit card information through OpenTable. There will be a $10 fee for no-shows or late cancellations per person for a party of 6 or more.Your table will be reserved for 1 hour 30 minutes.

    Everything was really wonderful however I asked for a to go box and the waiter ended up taking it away to box it and when I returned home I saw they removed half of my food so I didn't have my full leftovers. That was really disappointing.

    I have been here twice before and loved it. This time was ho-hum. We dined outside, yet the table next to us was so LOUD that we could barely talk. Wait staff was friendly, but not very attentive. Trout had bones in it (last time I ordered it they had de-boned it) and was very salty. Sea bass was very good. Beet salad was tasty, but a bit small. Wine pours seemed small. Overall okay, but not as good as previous visits.

    Laura and Sayat have done something really special here. The attention to detail is evident in every dish, beverage, service and decor. There really is no other restaurant In SF I can compare it to. Bravo!
