I cannot recommend Shelanous Restaurant enough! I pre-booked two months in advance for my husband's birthday, and it was worth every bit of the wait. From the moment we walked in, the ambiance was warm and inviting, and the staff went above and beyond to make the evening special. The food was absolutely divine—every dish was bursting with flavor and beautifully presented. My husband was thrilled with the experience, and it truly made his birthday unforgettable. A hidden gem; Amare Cucina Pizza Bar is a slice of authentic Italian heaven in Blairgowrie! Every bite of their cuisine made our hearts go “Mama Mia.” The pizza (Norma) was perfection—thin, crispy, and melted in our mouths with fresh, flavorful toppings. Their pasta? Absolutely divine. We honestly cried with joy with every bite. And don’t miss the tiramisu—it’s the perfect sweet finish! They also offer a great variety of vegetarian options, which is always appreciated. The service was warm and responsive, with the attendants treating us to smiles and thoughtful recommendations. Jasmine, in particular, was fantastic—every suggestion she made was spot on and elevated our entire dining experience. If you’re craving authentic Italian food with exceptional service, Amare Cucina is the place to be. We’ll definitely be back!

I took my partner for Valentine's dinner and it was great, the food was great, ambience was great to have a good conversation. The brick work and old barhouse / warehouse / shed structure gives a warm feeling. It was not too expensive and the staff was very friendly. Improvement areas are around parking, clarity of menu (I found it overwhelming and I clear to make a decision, maybe pictures would help) Overall I would recommend the place, also a nice drive from where we live.

We had a wonderful family birthday lunch. Food was perfect, nothing was too much trouble for staff. We had young children who were well catered for. The venue is stunning! The views and surrounding gardens and decking were perfect! We loved our day!
