The name Melina is rooted in Greek origin and derives from the Greek word for "honey". "Mel" can be derived from the name Melissa meaning "honey-bee". The restaurant is named after the daughter of Co-Founder Chef Dimitri Moshovitis. “Melina” will honor the strength of the matriarchy in the Greek family.     I’m always amazed at the consistency and high level experience at Zaytinya. We had the lunch tasting menu. Probably a total of 15 small plates. All were delicious and creative. Service and timing also impeccable.

    Delicious meal and attentive (but not overbearing!) service. Food was great and it was a lovely atmosphere. Would return for another nice meal!

    We had a wonderful evening tonight at Julii. We ordered burrata, French onion soup, Alsatian tart and scallop crudo for appetizers. For mains we had the trout and the scallop risotto. Everything was excellent. The ambience was lovely, service was perfect - very attentive without being overbearing. Burrata is hard to mess up so of course that was great. The tart while good didn’t live up to the hype. It was still very enjoyable! It’s not so much of a tart as it truly is more of a flatbread pizza, but still very good. The trout was tasty and the scallop risotto was very nice. For me, the stand out dish was the scallop crudo -very bright and refreshing flavors. We had a great time and I would definitely come back again!

    We had a great time! The food was excellent and the staff was fantastic. We has a corner table with a great view of the water and Christmas decorations. The food was magnificent and the service was great. We will visit again sometime.
