IT STARTED WITH THE SIMPLE DESIRE TO FIND A GOOD, FRESH TORTILLA HERE IN NYC. IN THE TIME WE HAVE SPENT TRAVELING BETWEEN NYC AND MEXICO WE HAVE SEEN MANY STARK DIFFERENCES BETWEEN NY MEXICAN FOOD AND MEXICAN FOOD FROM MEXICO. THE DETAIL THAT ALWAYS STOOD OUT THE MOST FOR US WAS THE TORTILLA. MOST OF THE TORTILLAS YOU CAN FIND HERE, BOTH IN RESTAURANTS AND GROCERY STORES, ARE MADE FROM CORN FLOUR. THIS IS A NOT TOO TASTY, NOR NUTRITIONS DERIVATIVE OF CORN MASA. THINK OF WONDERBREAD VS ANY LOAF OF BREAD YOU MIGHT FIND AT A BAKERY.

The Odeon offers reservations for indoor and outdoor dining for parties up to 6 guests. Walk-Ins are welcome. Due to demand, we are unable to hold your reservation past the time it has been booked. If you cannot be present at the time of your reservation, we will offer the table to waiting guests. If you are running late or wish to cancel, please call us at 212-233-0507. The Odeon takes the last “Open Table” Reservation at 10 pm on Sunday and Monday and 10:30 pm Wednesday through Saturday. A contemporary take on the classic oyster bar, located in Fort Greene, Brooklyn, near BAM, Barclay's, the Paramount, and Atlantic Terminal. Strange Delight finds its influence in New Orleans and is also inspired by the rich history of oysters in New York. Our menu consists of regional seafood prepared in a variety of styles: Charbroiled Oysters and Shrimp Remoulade share the stage with classic seafood towers and Oysters Rockefeller. Located in the heart of Gramercy in the restored Assembly Hall of the landmarked United Charities Building, Hawksmoor is a steak restaurant that celebrates all-natural, pasture-reared, and traditionally dry-aged beef. Our beef is seasoned simply with sea salt and cooked over live-fire charcoal. Our seafood is locally and sustainably sourced from northeastern waters and we use small-farm produce whenever possible.
