Casa Vega, in Sherman Oaks, opened its doors in 1956 and has been serving the people of Southern California ever since. Local residents, and even celebrities, have flocked to the family-run Mexican restaurant currently run by Christy Vega Fowler, daughter of original owner, Rafael Vega. Honestly, they did not disappoint with the service or the food. The waiter was very attentive and always checked on us. The food was nice as hot and flavorful. I would definitely come back to this location.

We have been to all of the their restaurants. We thought the food was even better in Westwood, and a wonderful addition to Westwood. We brought home our leftovers and ate them at home the next day, still delicious.
