It sits at the centre of the former Kingdom of Persia, one of the world’s oldest continuous major civilisations. Iran forms a bridge between the Middle East and the Far East in the centre of the ancient Silk Road, a major trading route which goes back tens of thousands of years. Persian cuisine has influenced many world cuisines, and has absorbed elements from other cuisines as well. It's no surprise that Persian ingredients such as saffron, pomegranate have made their way into other cuisines! As ancient traders took their wares to the corners of the world, they traded goods, bringing back the eating habits and ingredients from Greece, Rome, Turkey, Russia and India. Today's Persian cuisine traces its roots to ancient Persian ingredients and recipes.

    Been here many times and the food is always amazing. Staff is knowledgeable, attentive, and went out of their way to make my partner, who is a celiac, feel comfortable and confident the food was served in a celiac-friendly manner. Generous portions, perfectly grilled meats and savoury dips, Shiraz is our favourite place to eat on the Gold Coast.

    Amazing! The staff were all brilliant ! The food was delicious and all meals were served so quickly! Given how busy it was the service and quality was second to none! Thank you we will be back

    We found Kazba online after looking for suitable dinner options and booked as soon as we saw the menu. The plentiful vegetarian options are what got us through the door, and the exact same options are what would get us to come back again. The food was delicious, and the cocktails were pretty good too - and everything was reasonably priced (particularly when compared to similar experiences in Sydney). Thanks Kazba for an amazing meal.
