Vatutto is a family run restaurant, Owners Paul and Myrto Recinella moved from their 16 year Institution at Zios East Melbourne to the Ivanhoe location in 2015. A full renovation was completed recently creating a modern yetelegant atmosphere. Vatutto translates from Italian to ‘Everything goes’ the menu here has a diverse flavour selection from all corners of the earth. Produce here is sourced from premium suppliers, and we use sustainable seafood from Australian or New Zealand waters, Wagyu beef from Gippsland, organic eggs, fruit and vegetables, and quality imported cheese, dairy products and flour. We had an absolutely fantastic experience at Vue de Monde. The service was incredible, with great attention to detail. The food was the best I have ever had in my life, with many of the dishes containing ingredients I don't usually like yet being my favourite of the night. An experience my partner and I will never forget. Thank you to all the staff for such a memorable experience.

Having been to Vorea Polaris some time ago I was happy to recommend the restaurant for a family gathering/Sunday Brunch. Unfortunately (as sometimes happens), the standard of cooking and food was not quite as good as previously. The once tender steak sandwiches were gristly and difficult to eat. My Eggs Benedict came with firm egg yolks. In their defence, when I queried this I was provided with two perfectly poached replacement eggs. The waitress was fantastic. The noise level a tad high. Parking was VERY difficult. The ability to pay separately for a table of six was a bonus.
