Amazing! You will not be disappointed with this experience.

Everything was special and tasty (except for too much salt), and we really enjoyed how it changed from previous menu, with cheese no longer optional with food but fully included. Was really glad that souffle hasn't changed. However, most dishes were soooooo salty, it's as though every element was seasoned for the whole dish and combined it was blindingly salty, especially the first eel dish, the macadamia puree dish, the marron, the broth for the kangaroo, consomme for the wagyu. We are still drinking water days beyond the meal and we woke up with swollen fingers the next day due to water retention from all the salt. Also 4 hours of lunch is just too tough for old people. Lastly, I miss from the old management how the menu was printed for us to keep at the end and hope they can do that again.

Great location, decent food, pretty fast service. Very busy on the long weekend understandably, booking is a must, however, you can only book inside. Normally would not be negative in a review, read on for further details.We were turned away Saturday, they were really busy- understandable, the markets were on too. We booked for Monday night 8pm inside then upon arrival, we were encouraged to sit outside by the same server from Saturday who seemed not very friendly. we were happy to sit outside & were going to ask to anyway ! Had to ask them to clean the table when drinks were delivered, food from the last customers was all over it, (they didn’t offer to clean it. )We watched a group of four arrive just after us, get turned away - told the place is booked out, however when I went to the bathroom soon after it was evidently nearly empty inside and very clean tables set up for the next day. They started shutting down by 8:45- 9pm, assuming this is why the four were turned away, seemed to be enough staff on. Go early to snag a table in the sun or book early.

Over the long weekend, my family and our guests visited St Andrew’s Beach Brewery, and we’re so glad we made a reservation because it was buzzing with energy and a fantastic atmosphere. Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed by the staff, and I’d especially like to mention Tessa, who took excellent care of us. Her recommendations were spot on, and her upbeat, can-do attitude made the experience even more enjoyable. Nothing was too much trouble for her, and she really made our day! The food was fresh, delicious, and offered a great variety, catering to both the meat lovers and pescatarians in our group. The drinks were perfectly refreshing for a warm day, and the staff were quick to keep our glasses full. We were seated in the stable, which gave us a lovely private space to enjoy. All in all, it was a wonderful day with everything we could have asked for. I highly recommend it and can’t wait for our next visit!

We had a lovely dinner sitting outside. The food was excellent. Our waitress was so kind and looked after our requests to get the kids fed early and went out of her way to make sure we had a great evening. We look forward to returning again soon.
