Xiquet (chee-KETT) by Chef Danny Lledó features a sought-after tasting menu showcasing the finest products from around the world served with warm, Mediterranean hospitality. Known as one of the best fine dining restaurants in Washington DC for its modern Spanish cuisine, Xiquet has held a MICHELIN Star since 2021 and earned MICHELIN’s Sommelier of the Year Award in 2022. In the same year, AAA honored Xiquet with the travel authority’s highest rating, making it the only Five Diamond restaurant currently in the city.     This was our first time dining at Ambar and we thought it was amazing. Everything was perfect from the food, to the speed and attention to detail with the service to the overall restaurant experience. My father in law is very stubborn and does not like anything "different" and I was beyond excited to see how much he loved this restaurant! My 8yo also loved getting to take a bite and dry all of the different dishes. So happy to have experienced this restaurant.

    This last meal was quite possibly the best I have experienced at Xiquet yet. Our table loved the perfectly cooked partridge and amazing sauce on the sea bass. The festive decorations, kind staff and Spanish kings cake for dessert made for a cozy holiday evening. We are already looking forward to more celebrations at Xiquet next year.
