This burger is WORTH THE HYPE. And I loved the whole vibe of the restaurant as well, would definitely go again.

Delicious set menu with excellent vegetarian choice. Service was pitched just at the right level. Friendly and informative and genuine.

Great dining experience! Friendly, knowledgeable and helpful staff, very warm ambience (and it was freezing outside!), and really interesting food. Not the cheapest, but all 6 of us thought it stood up very well against city centre restaurants.

Our evening felt very special. Down to the relaxed atmosphere, incredibly kind service and can't state enough how amazed we were with each dish – so flavoursome! 100% recommend.

We had an enjoyable lunch at the 'spirits tasting ' event, the starter was particularly good. We were given a voucher as a gift and had not previously dined at Haywards. We enjoyed the fixed lunch menu and the presentation from Adam representing Essex Spirits. However, we would have preferred a wine tasting experience as we rarely drink spirits.
