A few short steps from the British Museum, The Blue Door Bistro provides a welcoming and informal bistro-style setting. Light and airy at lunchtime, warm and cosy by evening, the room is decorated on three sides with a panoramic view of London circa 1849. Together with the rich mahogany panelled walls, effective use of mirrored glass, and contemporary wrought iron wall lights, an ambience rooted in the hotel’s location is beautifully achieved. Executive chef, Martin Halls, blends seasonal ingredients and herbs from our garden with classical techniques to create seasonal British menus. The Ivy restaurant has been a firm fixture on London’s dining and social scene since 1917. The restaurant and private room upstairs are the epitome of real glamour. We are a natural wine bar and restaurant in the heart of Soho - we change our menu weekly and cook with the seasons using the best ingredients the season has to offer. Our menu is an eclectic array of dishes that we're either in the mood to eat or that take inspiration from a dish we've enjoyed somewhere along our journey. Whatever it is, we aim for it to always be a combination of simple cooking and delicious flavours.. This keeps us excited, and what we do at Ducksoup fresh and lively. Loved it.. don’t go to the Ivy and think it’s “posh” it’s good food and service with “feel good” menu. Special mention to the service staff, Paulina and the short haired waitress. Creme brûlée needs to be in a ramekin and a crunchy top, not flat and sugary with a blow torch.. everything else is good.. see you soon.

A pleasant late lunch with friends, we chose this restaurant as it seemed to be a relaxing quiet environment in lovely surroundings which it certainly lived up to We were hoping to book the fixed price lunch menu but this seemed very difficult through the one table app so ended up with the a la carte which was fine, generally enjoyed by all
