Serving contemporary French food, this much-loved independent restaurant has been going strong for over 22 years. Before booking, please note the restaurant has both downstairs and upstairs. The same menu options are available on both floors. There is no lift upstairs. Re Tasting Menu Timings: At lunch you must book before 1.45pm, and at dinner before 8.45pm. Located right by Clapham Common, Red Vine is a neighbourhood restaurant that celebrates Modern British food with a focus on wine. Only using local ingredients, owner Richard Herbert and Head Chef Julio Amado have created a delicious, seasonal British menu with a Mediterranean twist. Slow-cooked ox cheeks; deep-fried mussels served with aioli; and truffle tortelloni tossed in garlic butter all feature on the beautifully curated menu, which is divided into small plates and large plates. Amazing goose xmas dinner. The goose was cooked and served so that every bit was incredibly tasty and delicious, Nad before that an amazing mix of starters, pudding and clam times to follow.

This is true gem in Surbiton and I feel lucky that we have such an exquisite treat on our door steps. The food was exquisite and the service is impeccable and I think very fair in price and value. I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending this place as everything about it is really special. The people who look after you are knowledgable and personable and nothing is too much trouble. You get excellent advice on pairing wines to go with your dishes and the whole experience is effortless and memorable. Have been doing an annual trip for Christmas for a few years now and have been on the odd ocassion at other times and will continue to do this as each time the experience is amazing.

Fantastic festive menu - the cod dish was sublime! Although, there was not a bad dish in the entire meal. Portion size spot on and definitely worth going for the wine pairing. As ever service was impeccable and with a smile. Looking forward to the new year menu

Hi there ,it’s was our first visit in this beautiful cozy restaurant close to Wimbledon station 🚉 We celebrated our anniversary,it’s was wonderful,serving so helpful and friendly,smiling) Atmosphere is so cozy and warm 🥳 Food is so so delicious 🤤 we highly recommend this restaurant for everyone 😊 All the best guys.
