The Watermans Richmond is an all day Restaurant and Bar in the centre of town, conveniently located on an ancient cobbled street that leads down to the waterfront.Our food is the best of British ingredients, served with a nod to southern Europe, with favourite dishes ranging from scallop ravioli to fregola, veal chops and day boat fish. It was our wedding anniversary. We booked in advance which you must as it do gets very busy. We were in the Paddington area an hour before our 8.45 booking so we told them as we passed and they did call us as soon as a table was free. Which was a nice gesture from them. Then we were also given a glass of bubbly each and we felt very special. One of the other guests also bought us a drink as he’d noticed the fuss and it was just wonderful. We were very well taken care of by 2 people in particular. Alfredo and Fabrizio were brilliant, attentive and so friendly. The food was also spectacular and all our dishes were amazing. Thank you so much for a beautiful evening. X

Servers/wait staff were absolutely lovely- food (a Christmas Eve dinner for us) was perfect- delicious. Adorable Richmond/old London ambience.

It was our 2nd visit to the Script as we enjoyed the first one on Fathers Day very much. Unfortunately we weren’t as happy this time. The lamb in the roast was like a doorstop and the cauliflower cheese was a bit watery and the roast potatoes were a bit underdone. The club sandwich was extremely bad. Not really sure how you can make a club sandwich bad?? A lot of bread and not much inside. The chicken and bacon were very overdone and inedible. All we were offered was a complimentary coffee!
