Patsy's Pizzeria is a longstanding New York pizza parlor located in the Midtown East neighborhood of the city. As of 2008, Patsy's Pizzeria celebrated 75 years in the same location. The pizza here is rectangular and utilizes the "frico" technique, in which cheese is drizzled on the edges of the pie to create a crispy, cheesy crust.     Great restaurant for lunch before a matinee. We had reservation for 11:30am because we were afraid later restaurant reservation or slow service might make us late for show. Not at Serafina! They were ready for us at 11:30, and service was efficient and friendly. We had a well-paced meal , time for nice conversation, and got to theatre in plenty of time.

    I’ve always loved Serafina on Madison Avenue and have consistently had great experiences. However, last night was disappointing. Our server, an older gentleman, seemed unfriendly and was absent for much of our meal. This impacted the overall experience. I hope you can ensure that all staff members are welcoming and attentive to maintain the high standard I’ve come to expect from Serafina.

    We had pre-theater dinner. Food came quickly. We ordered a bunch of apps to share - Brussels sprouts salad, roasted tomatoes, chicken wings, mac and cheese. Everything was amazing. Seasoning was perfectly balanced. Textures were gorgeous. We had s’mores for dessert and that was WOW. Not too sweet (how?? We don’t know) and a little salt. Beyond. I can’t wait to go back.
