A typical food love story. A boy meets a girl while eating pizza. He attends culinary school and open’s a pizza restaurant named after the girl. Thus bringing us to Emily! The Manhattan iteration of the Brooklyn based pizzeria centered around a historic brick oven and comforting food. Emily has earned a following for its signature Detroit-style pies and award winning burger. The pizza here is rectangular (not round) and utilizes the "frico" technique, in which cheese is drizzled on the edges of the pie to create a crispy brown exterior. Beyond the main event, the menu extends to include salads and sandwiches, which shouldn't be ignored (think an attention-grabbing burger and a top-notch spicy fried chicken sandwich). Please note, there will be a time limit of 1 hour 30 minutes for guests so we can fairly utilize our limited capacity. Our outdoor dining is enclosed with heaters that will keep you toasty! I made a reservation but ended up sitting at the bar and the service was amazing. The bartenders Agustin and Laura were so nice and attentive and even helped me with the best recommendations on dishes and drinks. Having this service paired with the stunning ambiance was a great experience to have and is a place i would definitely recommend to anyone.

A first time diner and the food, service and overall vibe was exquisite. Gabriel was our server and he was knowledgeable and attentive. They had the Christmas decor up and we literally cleared out plates. Apps, main course and dessert were excellent.

Fantastic lunch! Chef Jonathan Haffmans is amazing. His food is creative, beautiful, with amazing flavors. You must try the vegan pumpkin cheesecake - fantastic flavors and incredible texture - could not believe it was vegan!
