Serafina Restaurant Group was conceived when Vittorio Assaf and Fabio Granato made a pact while traumatically lost at sea. A typical food love story. A boy meets a girl while eating pizza. He attends culinary school and open’s a pizza restaurant named after the girl. Thus bringing us to Emily! The Manhattan iteration of the Brooklyn based pizzeria centered around a historic brick oven and comforting food. Emily has earned a following for its signature Detroit-style pies and award winning burger. The pizza here is rectangular (not round) and utilizes the "frico" technique, in which cheese is drizzled on the edges of the pie to create a crispy brown exterior. Beyond the main event, the menu extends to include salads and sandwiches, which shouldn't be ignored (think an attention-grabbing burger and a top-notch spicy fried chicken sandwich). I have dine at Serafina for years. The service and food is always great. The Waiter/Servers are polite and professional. The hostess is warm ,friendly, and runs the dining activities very well. If you are looking to have a delicious dinner in a establishment that has a warm atmosphere...this is the one for you.

Francos is always a great experience and I'm so appreciative of the gluten-free options. Gene always goes out of his way to try new offerings this time with gluten-free breadcrumbs. I had a delicious sole oreganata. When the teen boys choose the restaurant, you know it's gotta be a good place.
