Gale's Restaurant is a totally local Pasadena spot for delicious Northern Italian fare, tucked away from the tourist chains in Old Town. Couples, families and friends that seem to have just finished a day outdoors snuggle among the brick walls and small marble tables, drinking cocktails and wine from elegant Brighton goblets.     Had the Caesar, margherita pizza with burrata and nduja white pizza as recommended by the server. All were excellent, though a bit on the salty side. Really good crust/dough! Service was also great and the cocktail I had was tasty. Great dinner.

    Great food & experience. We sat at the counter, and enjoyed watching the food prep. Quite a tight squeeze there was our only quibble. Otherwise, perfect.

    Christmas Eve--pretty busy of course but everyone in good sprits and relaxed. Sat inside in te back room which was comfortable. Service attentive and friendly, drinks prepared well and the food was terrific. Love coming to Gale's!

    We had a good time! Excellent waiter! Food was very good. The individual pizza dough was not its usual good self. Not cooked enough. My chicken parmesan was slightly too well done. The hamburger, French fries, pasta, salad and individual bazookie were delicious.

    A beautiful surprise. I didn’t know much about it. I just went there because I was looking for a French restaurant but what a wonderful discovery. Try their snails and boeuf bourguignon. I had them and were delicious!
