Emmy Squared has earned a following for its signature Detroit-style pies. The pizza here is rectangular and utilizes the "frico" technique, in which cheese is drizzled on the edges of the pie to create a crispy, cheesy crust. I’ve always loved Serafina on Madison Avenue and have consistently had great experiences. However, last night was disappointing. Our server, an older gentleman, seemed unfriendly and was absent for much of our meal. This impacted the overall experience. I hope you can ensure that all staff members are welcoming and attentive to maintain the high standard I’ve come to expect from Serafina.
