We had lunch with three friends today in Ardnamurchan. Four of us had the venison stew and one had the vegetarian option; stuffed hispi cabbage. Both dishes were excellent and the clean plates said it all. Three of us shared a bottle of Australian Shiraz which was pleasant but not quite as robust as we’d hoped for to complement the venison. Desserts were delicious; cranachan, sticky toffee pudding and chocolate cremeaux and the cheese was enjoyed by one of our friends. As one friend is quite deaf we found the booth we sat in gave us reasonable privacy and he was able to hear the conversation easily. The girls who served us were great; friendly, pleasant and efficient. My husband and I always enjoy meals at Ardnamurchan and were happy to introduce friends to it.

Everyone was really friendly and made the night very special. Will be back.

Great restaurant fish and chips second to none nice pleasant atmosphere

Dined here on Saturday afternoon while the Jazz band were playing. The food was very nice . Good menu much better than a traditional pub menu , had a bit of Greek theme to it as well as traditional food . Fresh vegetables nothing was frozen. 2 courses menu including s glass of wine was fantastic value . Staff were very friendly and efficient. Great atmosphere with the Jazz band not too loud , and get a wee dance too , what's not to love

Nice afternoon out for dinner on Christmas Day. My party which consisted of family were happy. Especially my mum. Who is now in a wheelchair. We managed fine getting her in and out of building and to bathroom. So that made me happy.
