Welcome to BEHIND. We are an intimate 1 Michelin star fish-focused tasting menu restaurant run by chef Andy Beynon. Situated on the edge of London Fields, Hackney, BEHIND has 18 kitchen-table seats for lunch and dinner sittings, as well as a relaxed wine bar. BEHIND is Andy Beynon’s first restaurant, opened in October 2020. After just 20 days’ trading it was awarded its first Michelin Star. Andy spent 15 years working in some of the best Michelin star restaurants in the country, including with chefs Claude Bosi, Phil Howard and Michael Wignall.

The high capacity restaurant is on the second floor of a Gotham City-style Art Deco building overlooking the fountains in Cabot Square, Boisdale of Canary Wharf Restaurant is one of the most majestic premises to have opened in the area. It bears the distinctive Boisdale design of lacquer red and dark green walls, rich mahogany panelling, and an eclectic collection of classical and modern original artwork. The Whisky bar is one of the most extensive in the world, with over 1000 malt whiskeys and expert bartenders are on hand to guide you through the impressive range, and create hand-crafted unique cocktails suited to your taste. There is also a ticketed live music show every night except for Mondays, and Jools Holland is Boisdale's Patron of Music.

Goodman specialises in steak. Our chefs source the best beef from both sides of the Atlantic – from premium USDA corn-fed herds to grass-fed Scottish beef, grain-fed Irish Angus and rare breed Belted Galloway from the Lake District in England – to present a unique combination of a traditional British chophouse and classic New York grill. All of our meat is dry aged and cut on-site – which can be seen in our glass-walled dry-ageing room. Couple that with one of London’s largest collections of American red wine, fine single malt whiskeys and a couple of great traditional English beers on tap and you have a match made in carnivore heaven.
