Delicious five star Ligurian dining in a beautifully designed space. Top quality- fresh and most appealing presentation. Flavours and complexity to die for. The staff were slightly wooden but that is minor compared to a most exceptional taste experience.

Les meilleurs poissons méditerranéens que vous pouvez déguster ici. Pour cette fois, nous avons eu un Saint-Pierre entier grillé et aussi de grosses crevettes Carabineros de deux façons différentes. Deux crevettes simplement grillées, trois autres crevettes pour des pâtes spéciales. Pour les amateurs de vin, la carte des vins est très attrayante avec une sélection de vins fins internationaux.

Probably one of the best tables available in the country! The prime rib was cooked and seasoned to perfection and I know prime rib!!! Plus the fit for a king -sized Yorkshire pudding was the absolute perfect compliment to the meal. I also had the maple tart for dessert which was served sauced with maple syrup made from the sap of a one hundred year old tree and topped with a hearty wedge of a soft brie-like cheese. We stated with a lobster spaghetti in a delicious cream sauce which sounds heavy but was not. We also were treated to tender,smoked slices of pork belly (they called it bacon) also in a sweet sauce along with a fresh-from- the- farm bowl of Gem lettuce with a green olive dressing which, in itself, was delectable.The service was highly professional and welcoming. What a fabulous addition to the Toronto culinary scene! Can’t wait to go back!

We had an incredible experience at Maximes From the moment we walked in, the ambiance was warm and inviting. The staff was attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely friendly, making us feel right at home. The food was absolutely phenomenal—every dish was beautifully presented and bursting with flavor. I highly recommend the beef tartare, the burrata, the sea bass was a perfect blend of flavor. The dessert menu was equally impressive, with the tiramisu being a true standout. The attention to detail, both in the service and the food, was truly top-notch. This is easily one of the best dining experiences we have had in a long time. I can't wait to come back and try more of the menu. Our server/bartender Driss Amir was outstanding D’j was Incredible Highly recommended!"

Love it here my favorite restaurant in Toronto. Working a very NYC vibe in Kensington market with phenomenal staff, delicious food in a fun comfortable arty room. Sat at the kitchen bar: a front row seat to watching the chefs do their magic. Last night was a special tasting menu, highlights for me were the Crueler with Crab, the green chili, pancetta and collard paparadelle and the delicious sour dough. A perfect evening with a shout out to Rob the sommelier and my waiter who made the night with his attentive, friendly and knowledgeable service.
