It is said that while President Theodore Roosevelt loved to eat, to him the dinner table was less an occasion for fine dining than as a springboard for conversations. In keeping with this, we have created a stunning interior design for Teddy and the Bully Bar that keeps patrons talking. Reflecting Theodore Roosevelt’s love for simple American comfort food, including steaks, oysters, fried chicken and house-made cornbread, our seasonal menus feature a contemporary twist on classic comfort dishes with a focus on quality, local and simplicity.     My wife and I went to Prime Rib in Washington DC. The prime rib was fantastic as was the traditional Thanksgiving Dinner. The ambience, food and service were terrific. Our server, Tony Grant was absolutely top notch and extremely professional. Only other comment is that the portion size of salads and deserts could be larger. Overall all excellent.

    We had a wonderful time dining at The Palm restaurant in downtown Washington, D.C. , on Thanksgiving Day! This was our second year in a row and it did not disappoint. The traditional turkey dinner tasted like the best home cooked traditional turkey and dressing with cranberries and sweet potatoes! My nephew had the rib eye which was cooked to perfection! Dessert was excellent. Service was excellent and we even celebrated my birthday with complimentary ice cream! What a wonderful way to celebrate any holiday!

    Thanksgiving feast was wonderful. I had the pumpkin soup, and my husband had the smoked salmon ceasar for the starter course. The carving station gave large portions, the turkey was cooked perfectly, and the sides were favorful and savory. The staff was professional and friendly. Thank you for being open today.
