Christmas Eve dinner was great! Bethany (our server) was wonderful and food was delicious.

We have not been here in years, food was great and service for 5 was awesome. The waiter was Conor and he didn’t miss a beat. Our 13year old son had the prime rib for the first time and loved it. My wife and I both had the ranch bowl and we added salmon. It was super delicious. Our daughter had salmon, fries, broccoli and a fruit cup that she ordered after our boy had one. Conor was super and was helpful in getting our kids into making a healthy decision. Our Dad had a salad and steak. We really enjoyed our stay and the meal and service was really great.

We live up past Sacramento but were in Modesto again for an event. We have been here twice before and returned again this evening. We return because the food is delicious, it is reasonably priced, and the staff is very friendly and efficient. Tonight was no different. My wife had the chicken marsala and I had the calamari steak. Both were new items for us as we wanted to try something different than our previous visits. Once again we found both well prepared and delicious. We have yet to find a favorite entree, as everything we have tasted has been great. We would highly recommend giving them a try and we will certainly be back when we visit Modesto again. After having a poor experience a month ago for my husbands birthday the Hotel Sutter Restaurant sent us a gift certificate. Our dinner last night was totally different ( positively amazing)! We started downstairs at the Copper Room Bar (great drinks and great ambiance and very versatile bar tender). We then upstairs to the restaurant and was given a choice table and an additional scotch which we had in the Copper Room. The dinner ( veal shanks and a wedge) was absolutely delicious! We were treated to ice cream and homemade carmel sauce ( again very yummy). The Hotel Sutter Restaurant has renewed our faith in coming back. Thank you staff at the Hotel Sutter Restaurant. I encourage any visitor to Sutter Creek to enjoy a special meal at the Hotel Sutter.

Love the food it was have good music grate place to take your family to.
