Smith's of Wapping is located on the River Thames with fantastic views of Tower Bridge and The Shard.Smith's, famous for fish, was initially established in 1958 and today offers fine dining facilities.We are now open from 12pm until 230pm for lunch and 5.30pm until 11pm (last seating time is 9pm) on Monday to Thursday. Friday dinner starts at 6pm until 11pm (last seating is 9.30pm).Saturday dinner starts at 5.30pm until 11pm (last seating is 945pm)On Sundays we are open from 12pm until 3.30pm for Lunch And 6pm until 10pm (last seating time 8.30pm) for Dinner.Should you not find the time that you are looking for, please contact the restaurant directly as there may be availability.

Our food is simply great sustainable sourced seafood cooked well from the British Isles. The Coal Shed Restaurant London is located at One Tower Bridge on the banks of the River Thames. The Coal Shed was born from the love of cooking the finest meat and seafood over fire.The restaurant uses the highest quality ingredients, sourced as locally as possible. Try the 35-day aged sharing steaks or the South Coast sharing fish for a dining experience to remember. The Coal Shed London, occupies two floors and a bar for pre and post dinner drinks and cocktails expertly crafted (it's not possible to stay at the bar at the moment due to the pandemic but if we have an available table, we will be delighted to seat you until we need it back). If you want to host your own event, there is a private dining room on the mezzanine or the restaurant can be exclusively hired for any type of occasion (following all Government Guidelines for numbers and social distancing).

    We have visited this restaurant many times for family celebrations and other events. The food is always exceptional, matched by friendly , courteous, informative and helpful staff. Good wine list and lovely decor , I can never find fault with anything here . I would highly recommend Smiths, it’s not cheap but this restaurant is a great example of you get what you pay, all round great place for excellent fish and seafood.

    the staff were Brilliant they were really amazing. it was my disabled sons 18th Birthday and they put themselves out and made his Birthday even more special. it was our first time visiting Big Easy Canary Wharf and must say the friendly staff and friendly atmosphere made our occasion a rememberable one. the food was nice and brought out quickly all together so we were all eating at the same time which was good for a large party of 10. I would highly recommend this restaurant for any occasion. the food was OK but service quality was truly exceptional and would give it 5 stars

    Great location, perfectly good enough service, but not spectacular, food was good but for the second visit to coal shed in a row… no fillet steaks available 😢 Would definitely go back but would be hoping for just a little better next time.
