Smith's of Wapping is located on the River Thames with fantastic views of Tower Bridge and The Shard.Smith's, famous for fish, was initially established in 1958 and today offers fine dining facilities.We are now open from 12pm until 230pm for lunch and 5.30pm until 11pm (last seating time is 9pm) on Monday to Thursday. “A stones throw away from Dalston Kingsland Station you will find The Dalston Jazz Bar. It’s a full on restaurant up until 10 PM. They serve an array of fresh seafood as well as yummy beer from a local brewery and cocktails. The live band plays throughout the night with a few breaks. After 10 PM they clear all tables and chairs to create a dance floor and this place then really starts to rock! We don't do vegan or vegetarian food. We specialize in fish. Tuesdays are our LGBTQ night, but everyone is welcome. Tuesdays will now feature live jazz bands."

    Always go here for lunch meetings but only gave 4 for food as the grilled squid we ordered was not entirely cooked as there were portions that were very rubbery

    Lovely meal with my partner, awesome service and I love that we weren’t rushed and were able to have three courses and time to enjoy them. Restaurant was busy and slightly noisier than was comfortable but other than that it was perfect. Monkfish main was cooked to perfection and I had the best Lychee Martini I’ve ever had! Superbly mixed. Service was attentive without being instrusive. This was our second visit and we will be back again.

    What an incredible experience. Amazing live jazz band, intimate setting, fresh seafood (including oysters)! It feels like a local treasure and I’m so glad I found this spot. I’ll be returning soon.

    Came in on the final service of 2024 for my dad’s birthday with my family. From the outset we were very well looked after by the knowledgable and charming Jacob. A model example of how to come across friendly and attentive without being at all overbearing. The food was absolutely sensational and despite my mother having a shellfish allergy, every care was taken to ensure her dining experience was not impeded. Truly exceptional food, a good wine list and very clever cooking going on in the kitchen. Couldn’t recommend higher and I wish Tom and the whole team all the success in the world for this venture.
