The Bibendum Oyster Bar - a local stalwart - is steered masterfully under the direction of Lyon born 2 Michelin-starred chef Claude Bosi. The large tiled foyer of the great Michelin building remains, and it’s great for a glass of fizz and a few oysters (there are always many varieties to choose from), and also perfect to stay a bit longer for a more leisurely lunch or dinner. Expect plenty of fresh seafood; oysters, langoustine and the signature seafood platters - alongside a comprehensive yet affordable wine list. As well as dining inside the main "house", there are seats outside in the semi-open courtyard, and also in the prime spot of streetside on Fulham Road. Faber is the Latin word for ‘Smith’ – Like a few other Latin occupational names (e.g. Agricola for farmer, Nauta for sailor). The restaurant was extremely quiet due to the time of year and day of the week, but the customer service and food quality did not waver. The food was outstanding and the service we were given was above and beyond.

Excellent service from Mark. A lively and friendly atmosphere. Plenty of room on our table in the bar area. Really good quality cheese and bacon burger and not overly expensive. Good reports from others for the flat iron steak and the sea bass. Great selection of beers and other drinks. A proper community pub with a prime spot on the river. Highly recommended.
