The Bibendum Oyster Bar - a local stalwart - is steered masterfully under the direction of Lyon born 2 Michelin-starred chef Claude Bosi. The large tiled foyer of the great Michelin building remains, and it’s great for a glass of fizz and a few oysters (there are always many varieties to choose from), and also perfect to stay a bit longer for a more leisurely lunch or dinner. Expect plenty of fresh seafood; oysters, langoustine and the signature seafood platters - alongside a comprehensive yet affordable wine list. As well as dining inside the main "house", there are seats outside in the semi-open courtyard, and also in the prime spot of streetside on Fulham Road. I booked a family dinner for 6; food was great re the steaks and the waiter was good in advising on the wine. We had a corner circular table which was nice and private. Always enjoy my time here and the waiters are always attentive but discreet

Issues with reservation: when we arrived for our 10 pm reservation, they stated they were closing at 10! Open table offered and allowed the reservation! Resolution: the hostess and manager ended up honoring the reservations! We were served delicious, hot and freshly made food! Our server was a bit miffed that she was there longer but still provided great service! Thank you for feeding these hungry tourists with the late reservation!
