Clark and Schwenk, friends over the years, discussed starting a place of their own and traded ideas over what the menu would be like. Finally, at the beginning of 2007, they felt ready to strike out on their own and made that vision happen. “I looked around Atlanta and saw a need for a really good old-school restaurant,” Clark says. We sat with a beautiful view of the river and l just loved it. It was my first visit to Ray’s and l am grateful for the feeling of being exactly where l was meant to be. We had arrived early and were immediately seated and everyone on the wait staff was smiling which l was happy to see. I ordered the Garden omelette (no l am not vegetarian, l just don’t eat meat) and it arrived hot. I was thankful for the flavors because they blended well and no extra seasoning was needed. I like tasting all the food flavors in the omelette. I also had a Moscato Mimosa (l don’t care for Prosecco) and my request was filled with no hesitation. This place offers superb service.

It was a fabulous experience !! I had a part of 6. 3 adults, 2 children, 6 and 4 and a 3 month old in a car set. The seating was perfect for us 😊 We went during happy hour with all the 1/2 price appetizer and our table was loaded with delicious meals that satisfied us all. The juice boxes for kids is a great idea and the fantastic adult drinks 🍹 were excellent. I went to both BB restaurants and I will return to both again!! Our server Jada was outstanding 😃Thanks again !!
