We opened The 3rd BluWater Bistro location in the Leschi neighborhood on March 13, 2004. Mick McHugh handed the reigns over to us after 22 successful years of running the Leschi Lake Café. With a slight remodel we cozy'd up the place, added some fantastic rollback windows, high back booths, some flat screen TV's, and leather furniture by the fireplace. We were sat right after checking in even though it was very busy so that was great. The server was very prompt and the appetizer came soon after but unfortunately the drinks didn’t come until when we were almost done with the appetizer so that was a little disappointing. The lobster roll, scampi and salmon were decent. We also ordered almond cake and it was ok. I wouldn’t get it again. Overall, we had a good time.

Excellent food, excellent service, varied choices on the menu from sushi to fish entrees to many other types of entrees. John Howie has got a winner here, and its location away from Bellevue Square means they have to meet the demands of those who aren’t in town to just shop. And, they do that with ease. Well done, guys!

The restaurant ambiance was perfect for a Blistery and Rainy Season in Bellevue. Once inside you are greeted by a smiling hostess and warm hello. Our waiter was very attentive and thoughtful. The food came to the table hot and presented well. Overall a great birthday celebration for myself.

An excellent lunchtime experience. Exceeded our expectations with original and innovation flavors. Delicious dishes with high quality ingredients and tasteful presentation. Not precious "tweezer" style food but cuisine that feels familiar. Deceptively different in the best of ways. It is difficult to describe what the food is like since it is so unique.
