Clark and Schwenk, friends over the years, discussed starting a place of their own and traded ideas over what the menu would be like. Finally, at the beginning of 2007, they felt ready to strike out on their own and made that vision happen. “I looked around Atlanta and saw a need for a really good old-school restaurant,” Clark says. That restaurant would become C&S Oyster Bar, specializing in classic New York and Paris brasserie-style cuisine. Clark possesses a passion for French cuisine and claims that it comes from the French’s appreciation for balance. Their focus on vegetables, fish, and meat as the primary vehicles of flavor allow for emphasis to be placed on the freshness of the ingredients. Proper attire required. Our brunch on New Years Day was outstanding from start to finish. Loved the wonderful holiday decorations throughout the restaurant. The cheerful atmosphere was great. We highly recommend Bistro Niko and we’ll be back!

This was our first experience with Bones. We opted to dine here after spending a family day in the city. To start, we appreciated the private room, the atmosphere and the outstanding service. The food was excellent, served simultaneously and was all just as ordered. To take the experience to the next level, our server was extremely kind to our son and brought a special treat to the table for him. Highly recommend dining at Bones…the menu is terrific, we really enjoyed our experience, and we will go back.

Had to wait about 20 minutes past our reservation time for a table, but once we got down the food and our waiter were amazing. They comp’d a couple drinks for us and even sent us home with a few gifts.

Though there are other more well known restaurants in Atlanta, Hal's is my favorite! The food is always excellent and the service is great! Even though I am only in Atlanta every couple of months, Kevin, my favorite waiter, remembers my drink order as well as my favorite foods. It's amazing! My husband usually has the sea bass but has also had a wonderful steak or two there. I haven't found any place that makes as good a chocolate martini! See you on my next trip to the big Apple!
