Was an enjoyable evening as a conclusion to a long weekend spent in LA visiting our newest 1 week old baby grandson and his family! The staff at Black Angus always try to do their best. One of the waitresses passing by our table had a little mishap and a plate spilt splattering particulates up in the air some landing on my shirt. She was mortified! My wife and I just laughed. One of those things that happens and lets you know this is life! We really like this restaurant and the food is always top

Some friends got married on short notice after thirty years together so we impulsively invited them to a celebratory dinner on short notice. It was also a third guests birthday. On the drop down menu, we called it a "special occaision" but to get special attention such as what my husband and I have enjoyed for our own anniversary last month, I should have chosen anniversary or birthday. Nonetheless, the service and food were excellent. The booth for five very comfortably seated us for light conversation with a view of the river for four out of five. From time to time some other guests were rather loud, but overall, for most of our meal, the noise level was low enough to converse in inside voices. In December, Salty's offered a reward for buying gift cards. I did so and highly recommend the ease with which I redeemed the rewards for our anniversary and used a good chunk of the gift card for this evening's dinner.

The food was excellent and service was also par excellent. It was a brunch menu on the snowy morning so atmosphere was nice and quiet. All of us had plenty of food so most of us took half of our meal home but it was delicious warmed up. Great place to eat!!

Tonight was wonderful, My previous visit to Wildfin didn’t quite live up to expectations, but I’m delighted to share how warmly Randy, the former manager, addressed my concerns. Instead of a quick apology or a mere voucher, he truly listened, offered sincere reassurance, and promised to reinforce fair and transparent policies—exactly what I hoped to hear. He kindly invited us to return for a complimentary three-course dinner, and because I’ve always adored Wildfin’s offerings, I couldn’t resist. From the moment we arrived, everything felt wonderfully welcoming. We began with perfectly seasoned garlic prawns and clams, along with that tempting rosemary potato bread—absolutely divine. For my main course, I savored the most exquisite filet I’ve ever had, while my companion enjoyed his favorite prawn scampi, which was just as marvelous as before. We finished on a high note with their luscious coconut cream pie. Our server, Vanessa, was simply delightful—attentive, genuine, and so very kind. The new manager, Katharine, also stopped by to greet us with the loveliest, most hospitable demeanor, making us feel right at home. This experience reminded me how a restaurant’s true character shines through in how they handle a misstep. Wildfin exceeded my hopes for a comeback, reaffirming why it’s such a cherished spot. I’m truly looking forward to our next meal there!

Our waitress went above and beyond to make it a great experience. She made sure everything was perfect for us! The food was hot and tasty. This is our go to place for family dinners and celebration.
