It is operated by the couple, Chef Juan Lopez Luna et sommelier and wine importer Lindsay Brennan. Alma offers a tasting menu experience (5 or 9 courses) inspired by the concept of "mar y montana", largely influenced by Chef Juan's childhood memories of central Mexico as well as the couple's time spent on the coastal region of Oaxaca. Limeni is a gem. The staff are very accommodating and eager to please. The white tablecloths and black napkins set a beautiful table and the chairs are very comfortable. The menu has enough choices to suit all. At this seating diners enjoyed the Greek salad, the Limeni vegetable tower, chicken, shrimp, swordfish and octopus. All beautifully played and excellent. Complimentary Loukoumades was a perfect ending. Noise level was a bit on the high side but didn’t detract from the enjoyable dinner.

Excellent informative service both for the food and for the wine pairing. Portions are well-sized (had the 5-course tasting menu). Music level was a bit too loud at first but staff brought it down. A most enjoyable evening.
