Went here because it was a new black owned restaurant so I had to show support! Also the tiktok videos had me sold but the food was not up to par with my expectations. The Mississippi catfish dip was really good! The cracker really set it off. I got the oxtail and grits as an entree and it was just too salty and not robust in flavor. My oxtails had more fat than actual meat and the grits were kinda bland. The oxtails were just salty and my sisters agreed. My brother got the lamb chops, Mac n cheese and truffle fries. He said the lampchops were really good! The Mac n cheese had a smoky taste but lacked much seasoning. The fries were a bit bland but the dip was super good so I guess it balanced out. Service was amazing, ambiance was elevated, chic and the bathrooms were clean! Overall I would give my experience 3.5/5.

It was amazing . I’ve been wanting to go there for a minute. My boyfriend took me after a long 9 hour shift. I couldn’t be anymore grateful. The service was 10/10. Barely waited 10 minutes for our food . Will be back again ! Thank you for having us .

This was my first time at Yardbird and we had a great time. My bf loves bourbon and we opted for the “Dealer’s Choice” bourbon flight. Leni our server was amazing and she took the experience seriously. It was a joy to watch her and her crew select the options and even more of a joy for my bf to try them. When we go back, we would definitely request her service.

Get the wings! They are definitely the best thing on the menu.

Great food at a reasonable price with great service. Catfish, burger, and wings were exceptional. Hoppin John and Mac and cheese were great.
