The late Rocco Diorio was responsible for the fine traditional food and many lasting memories for most of the people in the greater Waterbury area. The restaurant was closed in 1980 and reopened in 1991 after total restoration to its original splendor. The legend continues as we remain true to those endearing memories. The food was absolutely delicious. I highly recommend the shrimp and grits. The chicken and waffles and the country breakfast is a must try. Overall everything was perfect. The restaurant is beautiful and the friendly greeting when you enter is very much appreciated. The staff are professional and very friendly. I will absolutely return when I'm back in White Plains.

We had a reservation as it was a night that UConn was playing at the XL Center and were seated on time. The place was packed and there probably weren't enough waitstaff on duty but we were able to dine and leave with enough time to make the start of the game. Overall a very enjoyable dining experience. The food came out hot and was delicious. We will try this place again for sure and make an earlier reservation next time.

I love Foundry. This wasn’t my 1st visit and won’t be the last. Attentive service, delicious food and such a cozy and comfortable atmosphere. My friends and I were discussing how much we love French fries, and the bartender overheard and brought us a basket of them. It was so thoughtful and kind.
