Welcome to our beautifully restored Victorian with a contemporary twist. Neumanali opened fifteen years ago and quickly became a neighborhood favorite. We are open for indoor dining. Patio seating is available. We are not requiring masks for those who have been vaccinated, however, we appreciate your adherence to the state masking requirements for those not vaccinated.The menu features both fresh and seasonal entrees in addition to a selection of fun and unusual small plates. It is a place where newcomers to the valley soon become old friends.The Brass Door, formerly known as the 8/5 Club, was established by Howard Schlesinger in 1946. It was originally a six-stool bar and 20-person dining facility. Schlesinger's son, Mickey, and his partner Dick Basso bought the club in 1955. Soon after, they renamed the club The Brass Door. Over the years, the partners expanded the facility to include a 20-stool bar, 50-seater cocktail lounge and a dining area for 160 guests. Following a brief closure in 1994 due to a fire, the restaurant was rebuilt from its original location.

Our server, Nevaeh was outstanding: attentive, kind, friendly, and super helpful. The host was excellent and walked me to and from my car. I cannot remember his name. I ordered from the secret menu, it was just like the picture I saw on Instagram, delicious, fresh and a generous serving. I met the chef/owner and he was very pleasant professional and greeted me with a smile and a handshake. It was my first time visiting, and I will be back. Everything was done with excellent excellence.

The food and service were excellent! The pork chop is an absolute must. Drinks were very creative and paired very well with the food. The decor, lighting, and mood inside were very mid century inspired, making for a fun dining experience. We will definitely be coming back!

We ordered drinks, which came promptly and were good. Both of us had jambalaya. It was quite tasty. The show started somewhat late, so we had time for another round of drinks. Once the show started, and during and after the show, service was less available. It took us a bit of time to get our check, but we were able to chat with the performers, so it was fun. The parking discount at the Mason-Ellis garage worked out well. We highly recommend Biscuits and Blues for dinner and a show! We'll definitely be back.
