When we arrived, our table was ready, and the server came over quickly. Server was professional and friendly, but left us alone enough to talk. Water glasses were kept full and food came out in a reasonable amount of time. Everything was delicious.

The service was outstanding, the food delicious (seafood quesadilla - must have seafood when you dine here!), the colonial ambiance adds to the experience as Berret's restaurant is located near the College of William & Mary and Market Square in Williamsburg, Virginia. If you love oysters, this is the place to dine. Heads up: make a reservation as this is a very popular restaurant for visitors and locals.

We ate in the bar which is a little less formal than the main. Dining room. Service was great and food was excellent. I try and visit once a week. Bring some friends. Be sure to make a reservation on open table
