Known as one of the best fine dining restaurants in Washington DC for its modern Spanish cuisine, Xiquet has held a MICHELIN Star since 2021 and earned MICHELIN’s Sommelier of the Year Award in 2022. In the same year, AAA honored Xiquet with the travel authority’s highest rating, making it the only Five Diamond restaurant currently in the city.     What a fun neighborhood find. Paella from the pan is always a treat! Ingredients were top astounding and seeing the ham leg shaved was a ton of fun.

    The music was fun, the room was nice and intimate. Excellent way to celebrate an anniversary. The paella and the octopus were show stoppers and I absolutely loved all the unique options in their wine pairing.

    Nice cafe with good service, excellent cocktails, and a good range of food options. Seating was barely comfortable for dining (it's really a cocktail bar with slightly lower tables and chairs than a traditional restaurant, at least where we were seated for our 5:30pm dinner reservation. It was just too loud. Perhaps if they had seated us more than 10' from the bar it would have been better. We'd still come back but ask for a quieter table if that is an option.
