In the case where we need to close outdoor seating due to inclement weather, we will contact you the day of your reservation. Socarrat, the quintessence of the perfect paella and for which the restaurant is named, is the delectable, sensuous crust that forms on the bottom of the paella pan when the liquid is rendered and the rice reaches its peak of succulence. The menu, an authentic array of delicious dishes from the regions of Spain specializing in traditional tapas with an accent on paella that can be characterized as a true exploration for the palette.Socarrat Nolita's ambiance denotes feelings of warmth, comfort, and hospitality. Building on its sister restaurant's identity as a small, intimate space comprised primarily of one large communal table, the restaurant also offers banquet, bar and table seating. Pretty quiet place, but not surprising as it was a Monday night. Place looks great though, excellent serice and food was wonderful. Love to go back and spend a Friday or Saturday night there!

Ernesto’s is a wonderful spot. Authentically both Basque and Lower East Side, it was truly soulful and differentiated in a too often homogenized world. Delicious and interesting food, an incredibly deep and educational Spanish wine list, and friendly, knowledgeable service to guide diners along the way. Very grateful to have dined here.

Met a friend here before seeing a music gig at the Bowery Ballroom. Had the mushroom risotto and burrata salad, which were excellent. Great staff, too. I highly recommend!
