Ernesto’s is the acclaimed Basque-inspired restaurant from veteran chef Ryan Bartlow, who has worked at world-renowned restaurants, including Akelarre in Spain, Alinea in Chicago, and Frenchette in New York City. At Ernesto’s — which has been named one of The New York Times ‘best new restaurants’ of the year, among other accolades — Bartlow offers a menu inspired by his years spent cooking and living in the Basque region of Spain, mixing signature traditional dishes with seasonal riffs on classic flavors.Ernesto's is open for dinner Monday from 5:30-9:30pm and Tuesday-Thursday from 5pm-9:30pm with the kitchen closing at 9:45pm, and Fri-Sat 5pm-10pm with the kitchen closing at 10:30pm. We accept reservations and walk-ins. We take reservations up to two weeks in advance with our books opening at midnight. **Our outdoor tables are WALK-IN ONLY. Please call on the day of your reservation to check for availability.

Opened in June 2017 as a neighborhood Cocktail bar with a curated French wine selection that compliments our French cuisine.     Alexandra and Ryan held it down! Food and cocktails were great as always. Only suggestion I have is to regulate the seating better. We waited in the entranceway for 20 minutes past our reservation time, as did a bunch of other parties. Nonetheless will remain one of our neighborhood favorites.

    This restaurant is amazing. The food and the staff are amazing too. I can wait to go back and next time I go is going to be on a Tuesday night. My husband and I love it so much.

    We both had the tapas lunch special $24 for 2 tapas. We chose artichokes, brussel sprouts, tortilla and jamon croquetas. Dessert was probably the best churros I've ever had in my life. We also had a great, crisp Albariño (the wine list is a little pricey).My only complaint is I'm not a fan of only high top seating.

    A Charming place. Great Vibe. A cozy neighborhood gem serving great food in a nostalgic atmosphere. A limited menu, but everything is prepared, cooked and presented perfectly. A great date spot. Perfect for a great unpretentious dinner with friends.
