Overall, it was an excellent experience. The only hiccup was having the steak sent back because it was slightly undercooked. The staff did everything possible to right the situation and were very good with how they handled it. I’ll easily give them a 9.5 out of a possible 10.

VALENTINE’S SURF & TURF DINNER FOR TWO for $139 was excellent. Three courses with generous main course and lots of choices for apps and desert. Family style main course was a delicious NY strip, gummy lobster and grilled shrimp. Maddie the server was delightful, efficient, attentive and very personable. Great place to eat, fun vibe in a very loud energetic environment. I highly recommend Gary’s.

Tonight was our Valentine’s Day dinner. Our app was the bacon wrapped scallops, insanely good. My wife’s filet mignon was done perfectly. My broiled walleye was done to perfection. The dessert was chocolate cake and it was scrumptious. Our server was Vonnie and she was absolutely wonderful!!

Dinner was spectacular. We got the scallops and pork belly, roasted cauliflower, rainbow trout, artisanal seasonal pasta, roasted carrots, and the donuts and chocolate creme brûlée for dessert. Wow! Everything was so delicious! Our favorite was the trout which had this exquisite sauce and the skin was crispy and delicious. The pasta was awesome with zucchini, peas, asparagus, mint, and lemon. The carrots had the most delicious lemon yogurt sauce! And the cauliflower was seasoned with some Indian tasting spices and had these crispy chickpeas which added the perfect crunch. The donuts were to die for! It’s a huge portion of 10 gigantic beignets style donuts. So good! Amy was our server. She was engaging and attentive and the food came out perfectly timed We will definitely be back!

We received a gift card for Christmas and saved it for our anniversary dinner. Everything about the experience was exceptional. The staff was welcoming and gracious and our server, Henry, was an absolute joy. We each had a cocktail and shared the nachos for an appetizer. I'm not normally one to gush over nachos but OH! were they delicious. I'd eat those 100 times. I had the salmon, which was perfectly cooked; my husband had the sturgeon which was also perfect. We ended the dinner with a surprise dessert in honor of our anniversary. All in all, it was pricey but worth it for a special occasion. We'll definitely go back.
