Three generations of the Frank family found new inspiration in England’s growing gastropub movement.In 2009, they refurbished, restyled and re-opened the traditional British pub at Five Crowns as Corona del Mar’s first and only English-style gastropub, SideDoor.SideDoor is a separate operation within Five Crowns. Tavern House is the creation of restaurateurs David Wilhelm and Gregg Solomon who have developed numerous Orange County restaurants over the past 25 years, including Kachina, Bistro 201, Barbacoa, Chat Noir, Diva, Sorrento Grille and French 75. The menu reflects a collection of Chef Wilhelm's popular signature seafood and comfort food dishes.     Super amazing restaurant. The employees are super welcoming and even when they weren’t our waiters they would still ask if we needed anything. I’m a big Javier’s and mastros guy and 76 above guy and by far ocean 48 beats all of them. Food was super amazing. Will be returning soon, more often. Thank you guys.

    We chose to celebrate the last day of seven weeks of radiation for my husband at Fleming steakhouse little did we know what an exceptional experience we would have. Our server was absolutely outstanding and took excellent care of us. We chose to sit in the bar which we enjoyed. We ordered the tomahawk steak our first time having one, and I must say it was absolutely outstanding. When the manager learned that we were celebrating my husband’s last day of radiation, he very kindly came to our table and visited, and then let us know that his dinner would be complementary. Everything could not have been more perfect. We felt like we were visiting in a friends home. We have always loved Flemings, but last night was exceptional. Thank you so much for your kindness and support.

    Tonight we celebrated the 60th Anniversary of our 1st date, and we wouldn’t have had dinner anywhere else. Waitresses Allie and Kim are terrific and our friends. Five stars.
