As the name suggests, P.S. Steak was established to continue the story of the historic space that was once famed La Belle Vie. As Chef Mike DeCamp spent 10 years at the former French restaurant, this will be his homecoming and opportunity to write his own chapter for the space. P.S. Steak disrupts the perceptions of a typical steakhouse while honoring the legacy of one of the great culinary foundations in the Twin Cities. Walking into Jimmy’s seems like tuning one’s self into their happy zone. From the front desk to the staff to our waitress, Karen, service was tip-top. Not to be missed but remaining unseen, the kitchen turns out plate after plate of delicious meals. The crab cakes went over big with my wife. The caesar salad remains a solid pick, not to be missed. .The meatloaf platter spins a new meaning to meat; delicious along with tasty mashed potatoes and crispy onion rings. Halibut with miso ginger sauce was excellent. Our waitress also made some exceptional oyster recommendations which we enjoyed very much. Everything was fresh and very tasty. Highly recommended.
