I started in my grandfather’s restaurant & worked my way up to running one of the most successful restaurants in NYC - Patsy’s Italian Restaurant. My grandfather worked his way up in the restaurant industry in the 1930's and '40s and in 1942 opened his first Italian restaurant, The Sorrento. When it came time to name our new restaurant, we decided on IL Sorrento in honor of my grandfather. I know my grandparents & my mom are smiling down on us with approval. I've lived in Westchester since 1984 & have always dreamed about opening an Italian restaurant here .. now the dream is a reality. My family & I believe that having a successful restaurant is a simple formula - give people what they want: Good Food, Good Service and Good Value. Everything was delicious! Salads, mussels, pasta, fish! My party of 4 enjoyed every bite! The service is excellent! Also, although we were fairly close to the crowded bar, the noise level was quite low. We had no trouble carrying on a lively conversation!

We each enjoyed our meals prepared perfectly and served with much care and attention. The renovations to the entire restaurant are exceptional. Il Gusto is quickly becoming our favorite place to dine!
