Located on West Seventh & Victoria, it is the perfect meeting place of uptown and downtown, of quiet neighborhood and big city lights.It's called a chophouse because it specializes in a casual steakhouse atmosphere with top-of-the-line cuts of the finest meats. It is a Rail-house because it is on the old railroad line serving the city and rail drinks (as well as top brands) are served in the convivial atmosphere of the horseshoe bar.And of course Bennett's is Bennett's because owners Joe and Meghan Bennett ensure that welcoming hospitality is always served.     This place is a hidden gem worth discovering. When you wish to celebrate, then choose this white tablecloth small dining room. The food is so fresh and tasty. The service staff engaging attentive and knowledgeable. STRONGLY recommend.

    Very expensive but large portions easy to share. Excellent service from Sean who was attentive, knowledgeable, pleasant and paced the meal exactly as we wanted. Lobster cakes delicious. NY strips needed to be returned to get them med rare but this was done quickly and a couple of staff checked back to make sure they we were happy. No holiday decor in sight but elegant restaurant and our booth was quiet and easy to converse. Still our favorite downtown steakhouse!

    Page our server was top notch would like to have her again next time I visit your restaurant. Please let her know that Shane gave her this rating to refresh her. We were the family of four in the back of the restaurant.  round 1 o’clock on December 24.

    Right away from entering the establishment the level of service was outstanding! I had dropped my girlfriend off at the the door and the staff knew right where she was. Pointed me in the right direction. While waiting for our table we had a drink at the bar & the staff there made great recommendations. Another hostess came to get us for our table. Once we were seated our server fully explained the menu for our first time being there. She was absolutely amazing! We took her recommendations for an appetizer and our steaks were cooked to perfection! The flavor profile was stunning! The level of service was absolutely outstanding! To end our evening experience we got to chat with Santa & Mrs Claus! When leaving the restaurant every staff member thanked us for coming in tonight. We look forward to dining again there!
