Goodman specialises in steak. Our chefs source the best beef from both sides of the Atlantic – from USDA corn-fed herds to grass-fed Scottish beef, grain-fed Irish Angus and rare breed Belted Galloway from Devon – to present a uniquely British interpretation of a New York grill. All of our meat is matured on-site – you can see it for yourself in our glass-walled dry-ageing room – then we cook it over charcoal for a fabulously smoky flavour. Our first time here but my friend and I had such a good time. The atmosphere and service were fantastic, as was the food. The wine and beer were options were excellent as well. My friends said it was the best restaurant they had been too in a long time

I have been to Blacklock City several times, and have never been disappointed. The food and drinks were all excellent. My favourites (in no particular order) are the pre chop bites / pork rib / Blacklock burger / sirloin / prime rib / all in / Blacklock Sundays / white chocolate cheesecake / old fashioned cocktails. Not to be consumed all at once, but if you think you can manage them all, I wish you the very best! The servers were very attentive and engaging. And even helped celebrated my birthday with a freebie. Have a birthday celebration there and you'll see!

Service was attentive, server was knowledgeable and friendly. Steak was delicious, however the fillet side of the porterhouse was a little over, not easy I know but not unreasonable at a top steak restaurant
