Goodman is a uniquely British interpretation of a New York grill, offering the best beef from both sides of the Atlantic. Most of the meat we serve in our Mayfair restaurant is from Nebraskan USDA corn-fed herds, but we also source many rare breeds from the Lake District, including Belted Galloway, Shorthorn and Longhorn cattle. Our other steaks include grain-fed Australian and Wagyu from Japan and Chile. Service and food was fantastic. We ordered 2 types of Toro and the Tomahawk Steak. Beef cooked to perfection and fish was butter. We’d come back for sure.

My medium rare steak was perfectly cooked by the Head Chef, as J guess the sous-chef was taking a well deserved break. I could taste why the Head Chef holds that title, and it takes many trials to taste the difference between a steak cooked by the Head Chef, and his otherwise very competent team of sous-chefs. The ambience was just perfect as was the service. Little surprise Gaucho is my favourite steak place in London, and within that group, Charlotte St is tops for food, service and ambience.
