Goodman specialises in steak. Our chefs source the best beef from both sides of the Atlantic – from premium USDA corn-fed herds to grass-fed Scottish beef, grain-fed Irish Angus and rare breed Belted Galloway from the Lake District in England – to present a unique combination of a traditional British chophouse and classic New York grill. The owner is on site and usually in the kitchen preparing one of three menus on offer: the restaurant menu, the grill menu and the pizza menu. The Yellow House had an earlier incarnation in Plough Way, but has moved to more intimate premises with a slick, post-Industrial vibe when it comes to décor, but still the same perfectionist’s attention to detail, relaxed ambience, warm welcome and passion about the food on the plate.
