The Roscommon Room is the coolest experience for Lunch and Dinner at Ocean Edge Resort located behind The Mansion overlooking Cape Cod Bay. Guests and patrons alike are invited to book a table inside the restaurant for traditional a-la-carte dining that will allow you to enjoy wintry cocktails with an assortment of seasonal starters and entrees from lobster poutine to butternut squash risotto. THE CHATHAM CUT offers an especially unique, intimate dining experience.We specialize in freshly-cut meats. Our steaks are freshly-cut every day.The Chatham Cut does NOT use pre-packaged previously cut pre-weighed plastic-wrapped meat, or cook our steaks using the "Sous Vide," method as many other non-specialist restaurants do. Every "Cut," is fresh, which offers the special flavor profile our guests have searched for.Our offerings are prepared in the true steakhouse old-world tradition. Side options are also steakhouse traditional, with fresh vegetables as well as loaded baked potatoes.For those who love seafood, we offer our oysters, sourced from within walking distance and many exciting spins on traditional offerings. The Cut's Yellowfin Tuna is popular as a Tartar as well as our Sushi-Grade Entree.Plan ahead for your visit!The Chatham Cut is an intimate dining experience.We do not offer a wait-list. From July 1st, 1957, there had been two owners of Pates, Cloyde Pate followed by the Gardner family of Chatham. Mr. Pate opened the doors to what would soon become one of Cape Cod’s most beloved restaurants. Once a cozy hamburger and ice cream stand, Pates grew to be a place of celebration, camaraderie, and community.     Our dinner at Pate’s Restaurant was extraordinary in every way! It earned 10 gold stars from the moment we stepped in the door!     Always a 5 star experience! The Seafood Stew is fantastic. The spicy red broth poaches the local scallop, clam and a beautiful piece of Salmon perfectly. The crunchy bread to soak up all that goodness is everything!

    It was our Wedding Anniversary and my parents flew in for the weekend to celebrate with us, the resort was beautifully decorated. Fireplaces going, and Brittany our server was so attentive and made our lunch very special! Thank you

    This was our second visit to Ocean Edge, our first visit to the Terrace. There was a wedding reception the night we attended and we weren't able to see the water as the result. It was beautiful to be outside and the heaters helped keep us warm. The prices are really high on the food but the portions are not large. Next time, I will return to another local favorite which has delicious food and larger portion sizes for the price. Ocean Edge is beautiful, but I don't think we will return.
